Meet Dr. Ashley Taylor, ND, RMT

Hi, I’m Ashley, a Naturopathic Doctor passionate about helping individuals improve their health, well being, and quality of life through compassionate and personalized care. My background in track and field at Northern Arizona University and my experience as a former professional runner helped shape my understanding of the body, recovery, resilience, and the importance of long term health. I also had the opportunity to represent Team Canada internationally, experiences that inspired my path into naturopathic medicine and my passion for supporting others in feeling their best.

Alongside my naturopathic training at CCNM (Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine), I completed education in Registered Massage Therapy, giving me a strong hands-on understanding of movement, injury prevention, and musculoskeletal care. My approach focuses on creating realistic, sustainable changes while supporting each person with empathy, education, and individualized care. I believe health is about more than just symptoms. It is about feeling strong, energized, balanced, and confident in your everyday life.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me walking my dogs, running, strength training, baking, or spending time with family and friends. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and equipped with the tools and knowledge to thrive.

Scope Of Practice

Weight Loss Management & GLP-1 Support

Reaching and maintaining a healthy weight looks different for everyone, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution. I help you understand what your body actually needs and build habits that last. If you've been prescribed a GLP-1 medication like Ozempic or Wegovy by your doctor, naturopathic care can be a valuable complement to that treatment. These medications are powerful, but they can accelerate muscle and bone loss without proper nutritional support, something that becomes especially important as you age. I work alongside your existing care team to provide targeted nutrition guidance, lifestyle strategies, and evidence-based supplementation to help protect your strength and bone density throughout the process.

    Acupuncture, Dry Needling, and Cupping

I am trained in acupuncture, dry needling, and cupping therapy to support a wide range of physical and emotional concerns. Acupuncture uses fine, sterile needles placed at specific points on the body to restore balance and support the body's natural ability to heal, dry needling targets trigger points and tight muscle bands to release tension and restore healthy movement, and cupping uses gentle suction to promote circulation, release muscle tension, and support recovery. All three modalities are integrated into comprehensive, individualized treatment plans to complement the whole-body approach that is at the heart of naturopathic medicine.

    Digestive Issues

From bloating and IBS to acid reflux and food sensitivities, digestive concerns can affect every aspect of your daily life. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I take a root-cause approach to identify what's driving your symptoms and create a personalized plan to restore balance.

    Athletic Performance

Whether you're a competitive athlete or someone who loves staying active, proper nutrition is the foundation of peak performance and recovery. I work with you to optimize your fueling strategy, reduce inflammation, and support your body through training demands.

Follow-Up Appointments

Follow-Up Appointments | 30, 45 & 60 Minutes
Follow-up appointments are where we track your progress, review any bloodwork or investigations, and adjust your treatment plan as needed. The length of your visit will depend on the complexity of your case and where you are in your care journey, from a focused 30-minute check-in to a longer 60-minute session for more complex or returning cases. These appointments are key to making sure your care continues to evolve with you.

Acupuncture & Cupping

Acupuncture & Dry Needling
Both acupuncture and dry needling use fine, sterile needles to support your body's healing. Acupuncture draws from Traditional Chinese Medicine to restore balance and address a wide range of physical and emotional concerns, while dry needling targets trigger points and tight muscle bands to release tension, reduce pain, and restore healthy movement. These treatments can be booked individually or combined, and pair beautifully with your naturopathic care for a more comprehensive approach.

Cupping
Cupping therapy uses gentle suction on the skin to promote circulation, release muscle tension, and support the body's recovery. It's a deeply relaxing treatment that works beautifully on its own or alongside acupuncture and naturopathic care. It is commonly used for muscle recovery, stress relief, and pain management.
